Nico Sickler
Nico Sickler is an all round financial professional. Having more than 30 years experience in financing companies, especially family owned businesses, he knows the triggers to execute successful transactions. Always looking for the best solutions and always willing to go the extra mile. Strong in Business Development and able to think in innovative ways / chances. He has an extensive network.
Nico Sickler holds a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Economics from the Heao in Utrecht. He is able to help entrepreneurs to realize their goals by creating focus and facilitate them in making strategic choices and attract new financings. He has a lot of experience in providing credit facilities, both on the requesting side as on the authorising side. His last job at ABNAMRO was cluster manager in Amersfoort, which included an agricultural unit next to a few large business oriented units. Before that he was manager of the Rotterdam branch at Fortis Commercial Banking. A large trade finance unit was part of this branch.
Nico possesses a large business network, which he is most willing to share with entrepreneurs. He is also active as treasurer of Coöperatie Boer en Zorg, an organisation providing support to 130 “care farmers” and it’s almost 2.500 weekly clients, situated in the centre of The Netherlands. In his spare time you can find Nico on the tennis court or golf course, walking or jogging with his dog in the forest.
He can be characterised as someone with drive, passion, a large sensitivity for customers and someone who knows to persuade. He comes up with surprising ideas and is able to realise very goal oriented customer solutions.
